1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

Conveyr is deeply committed to creating a safe environment for everyone, especially children and minors. We take child safety extremely seriously and have established strict policies, technical measures, and human review processes to protect minors from harm on our platform.

We work in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, child protection organisations, and technology industry partners to detect, prevent, and report any content or behaviour that endangers children.

🔒
Zero Tolerance
Any content exploiting or endangering children results in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.
🔍
Active Monitoring
We use automated tools and human reviewers to detect harmful content involving minors.
👤
Age Verification
Users must be 13+ to register. We verify age at signup and take action on suspected underage accounts.
🏢
Safe Spaces
Privacy controls and reporting tools are designed to protect minors from unwanted contact and harmful content.
2. Age Requirement

Conveyr requires all users to be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Users between 13 and 17 years old are considered minors and receive additional protections including restricted messaging from unknown adults and limited content visibility.

If we discover that a user is under the age of 13, we will immediately suspend their account and delete all associated personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).

Parents or guardians who believe their child under 13 has created an account may contact us at safety@conveyr.app to request immediate deletion.

3. Prohibited Content Involving Minors

The following content is strictly prohibited on Conveyr and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) of any kind — explicit or suggestive imagery involving minors.
  • Content that sexualises, exploits, or objectifies minors in any manner.
  • Solicitation or grooming of minors for any sexual or harmful purpose.
  • Sharing personal information of minors (name, location, school, etc.) without guardian consent.
  • Content that promotes, glorifies, or normalises violence against children.
  • Human trafficking or exploitation content involving minors.
  • Any attempt to establish inappropriate relationships with minors.

⚠️ Warning: Possession, distribution, or creation of CSAM is a serious criminal offence. We are legally required to report all such content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement.

4. Safety Features for Minors

Conveyr provides the following features specifically designed to protect younger users:

  • Restricted messaging: Adults cannot send direct messages to minors they do not follow, and minors can restrict who can message them.
  • Content filtering: Accounts identified as belonging to minors have additional content filters applied automatically.
  • Private account option: Users can set their account to private so only approved followers can see their content.
  • Block & mute: Users of any age can block or mute other accounts at any time.
  • Easy reporting: Every post, comment, profile, and message has a report button accessible with one tap.
  • Safe search: Search results are filtered to exclude potentially harmful content for accounts associated with minors.
5. How to Report Child Safety Concerns

If you encounter content or behaviour that you believe endangers a child, please report it immediately using one of the following methods:

  • In-app reporting: Tap the three-dot menu on any post, comment, profile, or message and select "Report." Choose "Child Safety" as the reason.
  • Email: Send details to safety@conveyr.app with as much information as possible.
  • Emergency: If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (police/911) before reporting to us.

All child safety reports are treated with the highest priority. We review them within 24 hours and take action within 48 hours of verified reports. You will receive a response confirming your report has been received.

6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

Conveyr fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies and child protection authorities worldwide. We will provide relevant data and assistance in response to valid legal requests relating to child safety.

We proactively report all confirmed CSAM and child exploitation material to:

  • The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline.
  • Local and national law enforcement authorities as required by applicable laws.
  • Interpol's Child Sexual Exploitation database where applicable.

We preserve relevant account data and evidence upon receipt of a lawful request and can provide emergency disclosure in cases involving imminent risk to the life of a child.

7. Guidance for Parents & Guardians

We encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online safety:

  • Have open conversations with your children about online safety and appropriate interactions.
  • Review your child's account settings and privacy controls together.
  • Ensure your child knows how to use the block and report features.
  • Encourage your child to come to you if they see anything that makes them uncomfortable online.
  • Be aware of who your child is communicating with on the platform.

If you have concerns about your child's use of Conveyr or want to report an issue related to your child's safety, contact us directly at safety@conveyr.app.

8. CSAM Policy & Removal

Conveyr has a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Any account found to be hosting, sharing, or distributing CSAM will be:

  • Immediately and permanently suspended.
  • Reported to NCMEC and applicable law enforcement authorities without delay.
  • All associated content will be preserved as evidence and removed from the platform.
  • IP addresses, device identifiers, and account data will be provided to law enforcement.

We use PhotoDNA and similar hash-matching technology to proactively detect known CSAM before it can be shared or viewed by other users.
